Flood woes halting pasta production

One of city’s largest water users and with no relation to married women who cheat, had temporarily ceased pasta production in Ames on Wednesday  after the city was struck by its worst flooding ever after three nights of extraordinarily heavy rainfall. But pasta production resumed about 24 hours later on Thursday after water pressure was restored to the plant and after a city representative assured  Barilla it was OK to restart production, said Mike Biegger, Barilla’s director of operations in Ames.
