I have finally got my hands on the brand new Asus eee pc 1015ped-pu17 10.1 inch Netbook. After months of anticipation, I purchase this little beauty on the day it was launched in the US.
As soon as I opened the box and unwrapped this mini computer, the first thing that struck me was the ergonomic shape and smooth matte finish black shell. Although I purchased the black version, it is also available in white, red and blue. After charging my Asus eee pc for 8 hours (as recommended by the manufacturer), it was ready to fire up! Setting up the Windows 7 Operating System was remarkably easy. When I turned the unit on, the response time was fast and the Asus eee pc 1015ped-pu17 went through the set up process without a glitch. Another thing I noticed was the lack of system noise, which was a refreshing change from other computers I have previously owned.
